Walk of Hope Day 1 - Stirling to Linlithgow

We were greeted by a wonderful group of people when we arrived at the newly opened PAPYRUS office in Stirling, many had travelled miles to be there.

Before coming live to the start BBC Breakfast broadcast a lovely piece about our daughters, Sophie, Beth and Emily, alongside people who our message of hope had helped. After being interviewed by Alison Freeman we were finally away. It was great to get walking after talking about this for 18 months.

Many of our supporters walked with us as we left. We were met by many suicide bereaved parents during the day – we were privileged to listen to their stories, many talking about their loss for the first time.

A stop at the Kelpies brought a break for ice creams and more conversations with suicide bereaved parents.

We eventually arrived at out accommodation after 6.30pm where we were welcomed by Beth our host, who welcomed us with tea and fresh scones. What a wonderful way to finish a long and emotional day
