Another Step Forward for 3 Dads Walking
In No.10 Downing Street with the Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Education
Yesterday we were honoured to be invited to 10 Downing Street for a reception celebrating public sector workers, followed by a private meeting with the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson.
The reception took place in the sunlit garden of No.10, where we had the opportunity to speak with people from all walks of life who are making a real difference in their communities. It’s always inspiring to connect with others working for positive change — and humbling to hear how much our walks and our campaign for suicide prevention education in schools are resonating across the country.
Our meeting with the Prime Minister and Secretary of State was extremely positive and productive. While the discussion was held in confidence and we can’t share details just yet, we left feeling hopeful. The progress we’ve pushed for is edging closer to becoming a reality.
We came away from Westminster with renewed determination — knowing we’ve taken another step forward in our mission to protect young lives by ensuring suicide prevention is part of the school curriculum.
