3 Dads Walking 2025 Ynys Môn/Anglesey Day 3 – Penmon Point to Sea Zoo

Our route took us from close to the easternmost point of the island along the Menai Strait. More excellent walking in more or less perfect weather with wonderful views across the Strait to the mountains of Snowdonia.

We are again joined by people who had walked with us earlier on this walk, some who walked with us for the first time and one, Pete, who has walked with us at some point on every one of our walks. It made for another convivial walking day 

Food highlights were the flapjacks in Beaumaris from the local bakery and the lunch put on for us and our fellow walkers at Church Island by the Friends of Church Island (a particular mention for the sausage rolls, oggies, cookies & cakes from Dylan’s Bakery)

We finished the day at Sea Zoo where we were welcomed in by members of the North Wales Masons who presented us with a cheque for PAPYRUS for £1,000! Thank you to everyone who enabled this to happen.
