3 Dads Walking 2025 Ynys Môn/Anglesey Day 5 – Aberffraw to Carnau
The sun made an appearance today… and it was warm! ☀️
We were joined by Pooja & Emma from Liverpool John Moores University and Nina from Edge Hill University — all doing incredible work to show the impact of suicide prevention in schools. Along the way, so many kind people stopped to wish us well or donate — thank you!
Our 10-mile walk took us along the stunning beaches near Rhosneigr, with a light mist rolling in to create the most atmospheric scene. We finished near RAF Valley before heading to Llangefni Town Hall, where we spoke to a packed room about our girls, our walks, PAPYRUS, and why suicide prevention must be part of school life.
We were proud to share the stage with Pooja, Emma, and Nina, who spoke passionately about their research into how suicide prevention lessons in schools can save lives.
Suicide is the biggest killer of under-35s in the UK. Together, we must give young people the skills to stay safe.
A truly inspiring day in the company of people doing lifesaving work.
